Student Poster Competition

Call for Abstracts

Graduate and Undergraduate Students are encouraged to submit abstracts to compete in a Poster Competition. The 2023 Student Poster Competition will take place on Monday, January 23, 2023, as part of NEWEA’s Annual Conference at the Boston Marriott Copley Place Hotel, Boston, MA.  Selected students should be available on January 23 to present their poster in-person and answer Q&A.

Students are asked to submit abstracts on water pollution control, water quality, hazardous waste, or other environmental engineering topics.  Cash prizes will be awarded to the best graduate and best undergraduate poster.

Additionally, NEWEA’s Innovation Council will be hosting the fourth annual Student Shark Tank as part of the Innovation Pavilion, taking place Tuesday, January 24, 2023.  Three students will be selected to present on their water innovation research.
